This summer, we took a long family road trip back to Idaho and Wyoming to visit family. With the help of energy drinks and trading off driving between my husband and I, we were able to make the long 22 hour trip in a single shot without stopping anywhere for sleep. Some may say we were crazy. And they would be completely right! It was a rough experience. But it was worth it to be able to spend more time in the wilds of Idaho and Wyoming.

While in Idaho, we took a trip to Targhee National Forest to see the new plot of land that my In-laws purchased for their retirement home. It is in the most beautiful location completely surrounded by pine trees and quaking aspens. It has been an extra wet summer, so everything was in vibrant green colors with grasses, flowers and all kinds of vegetation growing.

With the gentle breeze blowing I stood memorized as I watched everything sway in a beautiful dance in complete transcendence. And that is the feeling I wanted to capture. The dance of the Quaking Aspens.
