Finding the perfect art piece to adorn your living space can be an exciting yet challenging task. With an array of mediums, sizes, and styles available, sometimes the choices can be overwhelming. Each process is unique and offers different benefits.
I want to help you make the best selection for the space you want to fill, so you can fully enjoy your fine art pieces. And rest assured, I only use the best printers with the most strict printing standards to ensure quality, and longevity in our prints.
Let me walk you through the different options you will be able to choose between, so you will be able to make the best choice for your style.
Mediums refer to the type of material that the artwork is printed on. Such as photo paper, metal, canvas, or acrylic. These are the options we offer for our fine art prints.
Fujicolor Crystal Archive Pearl: This glossy professional photo paper surface offers sharp detail, high intensity colors, and a distinctive pearl-like appearance. Excellent for displaying prints. This is the most affordable option for a great piece of art. While it does not have the lifespan of metal or acrylic it is a great choice for those looking for a cost effective way to decorate their spaces with a beautiful piece of fine art.
Metal prints are printed directly onto metal sheets using special ink that infuses with the metal for vivid color, depth, and luminosity. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight. Metal Prints have a long-lasting archival quality, up to 65 years indoors. Metal Fine Art prints are often found in homes, businesses, waiting rooms, hotels, hospitals, and more. They are excellent pieces for bathrooms as well, because they can handle the humidity far better than photograph paper. I offer two different kinds of Metal Prints for our fine art prints.
High Gloss MetalPrint (MWG) features a Brilliant white high gloss surface for unsurpassed detail and vibrance. This is our most popular surface.
Mid-Gloss MetalPrint (MWMG): Similar color intensity and detail as our High Gloss option, but with a reduced glare. This is excellent for rooms that have large bright windows. Mid-Gloss will diminish the reflectivity that occurs with High-Gloss metal images. The image is still quite stunning. High-Gloss simply has a greater sense of depth to the image – that is why it is my personal favorite.
Canvas Gallery Wraps (CW): Fine Art Canvas Prints are printed directly onto museum quality canvas material using high-quality archival inks. The print is then wrapped around an artist's stretcher frame, and finished with your choice of hanging hardware and an optional custom frame.
1/4" Non-Glare Acrylic (1/4" Non-Glare Acrylic): Acrylic Prints are beautiful photo prints face-mounted to plexiglass with polished edges. Acrylic prints offer impressive clarity. The polished surface of this medium enhances the 3D luminosity, breathing life into your fine art prints and infusing them with vibrant colors and mesmerizing depth. These are offered with a variety of ultra-modern mounting options. These are the perfect print medium for high-end businesses, interior designers, fine art connoisseurs, art collectors, museums, or anyone who simply wants the highest quality vivid image possible that will last a lifetime.
The available sizes offer a wide range of options, allowing you to choose according to the availability of space in your environment. To assist you further, you can take advantage of our "WALL PREVIEW" feature, which provides a virtual size comparison using a variety of room samples. Additionally, you can adjust the wall color to match your own space, ensuring an accurate representation of how the artwork will look and fit within your specific setting.
Style is the last step to customizing your fine art print. This often includes the finishing, mounting, matting, and framing options for the prints.
For images that measure 20x30 or smaller, I recommend using a ¾" Inset Frame with either cleats or a wire hanger based on your preference. However, if you opt for a larger size such as 24x36 or 18x54, I suggest utilizing the 1 ¼" Inset Frame for enhanced stability and rigidity. If you desire a clean, "un-framed" appearance, I highly recommend an inset frame on the backside, as it creates a floating effect, adding an extra layer of dimension to your artwork.
This particular option becomes available when you select "Framing" under Styles. Once chosen, you will find a range of available framing options, and your image will be shipped to you in the specific frame you select.
As you hover your mouse over each option under medium, and style, an "!" will appear at the top of the icon. When you hover over the "!" it will give you a description of the selections. This may help you better understand each choice and how it will affect your fine art print.
If you are still struggling to know which option is right for you, please feel free to contact me personally. I will gladly help you place an order and send you an invoice. I want to make sure you are happy with your fine art purchase.
Thank you so much,
AmberLouise
